How We Manufacture?

Aparna Rollform cable trays are manufactured by roll forming, a continuous metal-bending process. A steel or aluminium coil is fed through a series of rollers, and each roller shapes the metal until it reaches the completed tray profile. This is a manufacturing process, not an assembly or trading operation, and they do not arrive pre-formed from a third party. The trays are manufactured using our own line and raw material.

Process flow:

  1. Raw material inward: The steel or aluminium coil received is thoroughly inspected for defects like edges, damage, or defects. 
  2. Roll forming: The raw material is fed into the machine, which are shaped into the tray profile.
  3. Punching/perforation:  High-speed hydraulic presses punch the hole pattern into the tray bottom. Also, holes are punched at uniform levels for ladder-type trays, slots, and rung attachments.
  4. Welding and assembly: Side rails, rungs, and joining components are fixed at this stage. To handle load capacity, components are properly welded. This stage also includes ground smoothing welded joints to avoid cable damage.
  5.  Surface finishing:  Trays undergo galvanising, powder coating, or other finishes. They are then baked in an industrial oven to solidify the protective finish.
  6. Inspection: The final trays undergo dimensional and visual checks for width, wall height, length, and slot accuracy.
  7. Packing: They are packed with protective foam or plastic sheets or other material to prevent damage.
  8. Dispatch: They are then dispatched with essential paperwork to the facility.
